Who this policy applies to
This policy explains how WiseRole handles personal information when you visit wiserole.com, submit a candidate application, make a hiring inquiry, communicate with us or otherwise use our recruitment services.
WiseRole is a recruitment service operated from Morocco and acts as the controller of the information described here. You can contact WiseRole at contact@wiserole.com.

Information we collect
Candidate information
We may collect your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country, city, role interests, experience level, B2B or B2C experience, LinkedIn profile, availability, languages, professional summary and resume or CV. We also record your application status and whether you consented to our processing your application.
Hiring-company information
We may collect a company name, contact name, work email, website, business model, roles to be filled, team size, hiring timeline, work location or time zone, compensation range and any additional notes submitted with the hiring request.
Source and technical information
Candidate applications include the answer to “How did you hear about WiseRole?”. When a URL contains a utm_source value, we also save that value with the application. Our hosting and security providers may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, request logs and security events.
03
How we use information
We use personal information to:
- review candidate experience and suitability for potential opportunities;
- contact candidates about screening interviews and relevant roles;
- understand a company’s hiring requirements and respond to inquiries;
- source, interview and introduce suitable candidates to hiring companies;
- manage applications, hiring inquiries, interview coordination and feedback;
- measure how candidates discover WiseRole and improve our outreach;
- protect the website, prevent misuse and maintain administrative records; and
- comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.
04
Legal bases
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely as appropriate on your consent, steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations and WiseRole’s legitimate interests in operating a secure recruitment service, evaluating candidates, responding to hiring inquiries and developing the business. You may withdraw consent at any time, but this does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
06
International processing
WiseRole works across international talent markets, and its service providers or potential hiring companies may be located outside your country. This means personal information may be processed in countries with different data-protection laws. Where required, WiseRole will use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for these transfers.
07
How long we keep information
We generally retain candidate applications for up to 24 months after the most recent meaningful interaction and hiring inquiries for up to 36 months. We may keep information for longer where reasonably necessary to meet legal obligations, establish or defend legal claims, prevent fraud or honour a request not to be contacted. You may ask us to delete your information, subject to legal or legitimate record-keeping requirements.
08
Security
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures designed to protect personal information. Candidate resumes are stored separately in private file storage and are available through the authenticated WiseRole admin area. Administrative email notifications identify new submissions but do not attach the resume. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
10
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, restrict or object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. You may also ask WiseRole to stop considering you for future opportunities.
To make a request, email contact@wiserole.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
11
Recruitment decisions
WiseRole uses human review and interviews when evaluating candidates. We do not currently make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects using solely automated processing. Hiring companies make their own final selection and engagement decisions.
12
Children
WiseRole’s services are intended for adults seeking professional opportunities and organisations seeking talent. We do not knowingly collect applications from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us so we can review and remove it.
13
Updates and contact
We may update this policy when our services, technology or legal obligations change. The revised date at the top of the page will show when the policy was last updated. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or directly where appropriate.
Questions or privacy requests can be sent to contact@wiserole.com.
